Definition
Phishing
Phishing is a scam technique in which a message imitating a trusted sender is used to trick the victim into clicking, entering their credentials or opening a malicious attachment.
In practice
A Microsoft 365 account compromised by phishing is often used to send further fraudulent emails to the victim's contacts, or to set up payment fraud.
At Jesto
Jesto has a dedicated procedure for compromised Microsoft 365 accounts: securing the account, analysing sign-ins and mailbox rules, and checking what was sent.
