MFA
multi-factor authentication, two-factor authentication
MFA (multi-factor authentication) requires a second proof of identity on top of the password, such as approval in a mobile app or a security key.
In practice
It blocks the vast majority of fraudulent sign-ins made with a stolen password. It is one of the first things cyber insurers require.
At Jesto
Jesto enables multi-factor authentication on its clients' Microsoft 365 accounts and remote access.
