Privacy policy

Data collected and purposes

  • Contact form: name, company, email, telephone, town, need and message, to respond to your request and, where appropriate, send you a commercial proposal. Legal basis: your consent and our pre-contractual measures.
  • Cybersecurity tips by email (newsletter): if you tick the dedicated box on the contact form or on the audit report request, your email address (and, depending on the form, your company name, the domain analysed and its score) is added to our mailing list, so that we can send you no more than one email per month. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message.
  • Support form (clients): email, telephone, subject and description of the problem, passed to our support team to handle your request. Legal basis: the performance of our services contract.
  • Free NIS2 and cyber insurance tests: carried out entirely in your browser; no answers are sent or stored.
  • Connection test: your public IP address is sent to the public Shodan InternetDB database to look up the services listed there; it is not stored.
  • Domain security audit: the domain name entered (or the email address, the part before the @ being used only to simulate the SPF check) is used solely to query public information (DNS, website and, where applicable, the public Shodan InternetDB database); neither is stored. If you request the detailed report, your email address and the audit result are passed to our team so that we can send it to you and, where appropriate, contact you about it (legal basis: your consent).

Recipients and processors

Your data is intended solely for the Jesto Informatique team. It passes through our technical processors: Cloudflare (website hosting), SMTP2GO (delivery of emails from the form and of audit reports) and Brevo (mailing list management and newsletter sending; a French company, with data hosted in the European Union).

Retention period

Data from contact requests is kept for a maximum of three years after our last exchange, unless there is a contractual relationship. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe; an address that has not opened any of our emails for three years is deleted.

Bot protection

The contact, support and report request forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an automatic check with no click required that analyses technical signals from the browser to tell a human from a bot. It is not used for advertising or for tracking you from one site to another.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that does not collect data that could identify you or track you from one site to another; it therefore does not require your consent.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@jesto.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
